What Does Speech 4 Good App Offer?
- A User friendly Dashboard which makes it easy to navigate the different features of the app.
- The Speech Center is engaging and provides a digital Speech Graph so that the user can watch changes in his/her voice and listen to audio playback in real time.
- All sessions can be recorded and you can set your own level of delayed auditory feedback. You can even email your recorded sessions from within the app.
- The Library saves and organizes all recordings, so that the user can go back and view previous sessions at any time. This is also great because user and therapist can listen and view progress.

Website: http://balbusspeech.com/ Connect with Balbus Speech as they take social media to another level by providing an online network that allows individuals with speech disorders, and therapists alike to connect via the Internet. Social media and mobile technology join to create a community of stutterers, speech therapists, family members and friends. When you have a vision it is easy for dreams to become reality- “Through my own experiences with speech therapy, I understand the difficulties faced by a whole community of people like me. I always wanted a way to expand the effect of my therapy. I thought: If I attend speech therapy for just an hour each week, what happens when the session ends and I head back into the real world? I struggled to maintain my comfortable level of fluency once therapy sessions ended. I wanted a way to connect, be supported, and find inspiration. That’s where the idea for Balbus Speech originated.” Jack McDermott Founder & CEOJoin the community-Follow Balbus Speech on Twitter @BalbusSpeech, Become a Facebook Fan , Subscribe to their YouTube Channel and View their latest photos on Flicker....Looking forward to the iOS application that Balbus Speech is currently developing!Through Connections, Support and Inspiration, you can find your Voice with Balbus Speech!
Erickson S24 Scale http://www.unl.edu/fluency/pdfs/erickson.pdf This is the site for scoring procedures: http://www.unl.edu/fluency/pdfs/wilscr.pdf
This is a scale that is typically used for adolescents and adults who stutter, it provides a general indication of a person's interpersonal, social and emotional sensitivity. There are 25 questions that ask for a response either true or fals. The client circles the answer that corresponds to the response that fits them best. A total score is derived from the questions answered from the questionnaire. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Let me know what activities you incorporate in your lesson plans for individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
