My Congratulations balloon Dear Futureslps.com Readers, I received my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) in March of this year. The excitement that overcame me when I received this in the mail was pure joy! The years of hard work and dedication from receiving my Bachelor's degree and Master's degree to my Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) has been a journey well worth it! Personally I had many obstacles along the way and they helped to make me the person I am today and I am still growing each day. I want to thank each of you for taking the time to journey with me on this incredible experience that has developed and shaped my skills. I hope that through sharing resources with each of you that you will share with others. I feel so blessed to be in a career that I absolutely love! I am here to stay and to continue sharing resources. My story on how I got in to the field of Speech Language Pathology..."Finding a Career You Love: My Journey to Becoming a Speech Language Pathologist" As each one of you travel on your path in life, always keep in mind that your journey is unique. The obstacles that you experience help to shape your life and they allow for growth and life lessons. Enjoy the ride and be open to the lessons that are waiting for you to learn. Congratulations Flowers Sincerely, Jourdan Saunders, M.S., CCC-SLP

I received in the mail this wonderful Speech and Language Development Growth Chart and I love it! I wanted to share it with all of my readers. They were developed by Home Speech Home and I got the black and white chart, but they also have a beautiful color chart. I received the chart for Ages 1-5, as you can see below each number is in the shape of an animal which makes this chart really unique and kid friendly. The charts come in Ages 6-9 as well. They are affordable and provide concise information pertaining to developmental milestones, in addition to examples of skills. It provides a good visual for parents, teachers; and the older students love to measure themselves and read all of the milestones that they have achieved. I really am enjoying my Speech and Language Development Growth Chart and wanted to share it with all of you. Thank you to Home Speech Home for providing a wonderful chart.
