Futureslps is so excited about a new partnership with Therapy HotSpot.  If you have not heard of Therapy HotSpot you are truly in for a treat.  They provide "parents and therapists in all settings functional and fun activities." It comes in a box with lots of different activities and the tools that you need in order to carry out each activity." "Therapists can ‘think inside the box’ because they provide ‘outside of the box’ creative sessions with their ready to use tools and activities." Students this is a great opportunity to get your ready made box as you collect the necessary tools needed on your journey to becoming #futureslps.  Futureslps is giving away a free box each month this year to one lucky futureslp.  Also if you are interested in purchasing a subscription, there is a special promo code "future" for all #futureslps.

How can you enter to win a free box?

1.  Name one of your favorite speech/language therapy activities.  Enter in the comments section below this post.

The winner of this Therapy HotSpot box will receive all of the contents inside (above is a sneak peek).
When you receive the box, we just ask that you send us a quick email (futureslps.com@gmail.com) of your favorite activity inside the box and what would you like to see in the box next.

All of the names listed below will be put into the drawing and the winner will be announced on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. EST.

Special Thanks to Therapy HotSpot!

My favorite therapy is any game that can be used to target a goal. Right now, the kids like using air cannons to blow pom poms!

I absolutely love bowling with my clients. Each time they knock down a pin there is a word attached with the sound we are targeting. It allows them to get up and moving and they always want to bowl again and again!

I like "Would You Rather...?" activities because not only can you elicit lots of language in a motivating way but you also get to find out more about your client :)

My favorite activity is playing Uno in dyfluency therapy. When it is the client's turn, have them say a word or phrase that is difficult for the client to say without stuttering using the easy start technique and then they can go ahead with their turn after that.
